Connr is right, I was over joyed when I got Nu long from Pang de, it’s worth walking around waiting for him to come out.
N, it definitly their terrain of choice that changes the bar, I have tested it. Either that or it’s crazy ironic that the person whose favored terrain I’m on just happens to be yellow.
Having some trouble with that one, huh? Took me at least ten tries, maybe more. I built like five levels from where I was. Then still it was a close fight. Try taking out Orochi with magic and focus attacks on Himiko. If you can take them out the other three aren’t that bad, The tiger is pretty tough though.
You will need the next level healing spell I think which you get soon I beleive, I almost quit playing because of that fight.

If it helps I figured out how to tell what the weapns are.
The last character is an L looking thing for swords.
A V looking thing for spears.
A weird looking Clock thing for axes.
and the things that a have a small t next to a weird looking h things are sabres.
It’s weird decriptions but It’s the only way I could keep straight what’s what.
I have a question actually, how do you take screen shots with an emulator, I am using FCEultra. Thanks, I have never tried to do this before.
Way to go Zhang, I think I like the CAO CAO mission better, I think the old guy is maybe that old Sima that’s on cao cao side at the start of the romance games. Also I think Gou Jia is actually the guy that replaces Chen Deng in this game, the avatar seems more fitting.
I would like to help figure out who these guys are as well. I have a save where I at the end of the game, I will go through and see if I can figure any out.
If you thought the Lu Bu, Red hare battle was weird, wait until you get to the battle where you would normally be saving Himiko, fighting Orochi.
Man Taishi, can I have a little more credit than that. It is the exact same as DOAE2 except you are Cao Cao, instead of getting Shu characters at certain points you get Wei’s. It isn’t that hard I guess if you can read the stuff, after playing for a few days I figured out enough to know what the weapons were, they all have the same last character. and revives and stuff are the same price so it’s not too hard to figure those out.
I have an original untranslated rom if anybody wants one to patch it with these mods. And yes the links of page one of that forum will get you the patches and they are legit, I tried both.
I wonder about using the Zheng letter trick in the mods, I bet you could get some weird guys then.
I have yet to try the WU mod. I started, but with no understanding of Japanese or Chinese, and the fact that the map has been changed I don’t know how far I can get.
