"...And I'm Kenny, SKYYYYY Walker!" - Kenny Walker
Kenny Walker is quite possibly the most influential basketball player of the 1980's/1990's. In winning the 1989 dunk contest, Kenny proved his valor and athleticism to the league. Explaining his victory, Kenny stated "Yeah my dunk was like the Dominique dunk except I added a 360 to it, yeah thats my best dunk". Kenny went to college at the University of Kentucky where he was a standout and thus was a high first round draft pick of the New York Knicks in 1986. In turn, Kenny stormed the league and had to be banned for a two year period from 1992-1993 and when he was allowed back it was under the restriction that Kenny only play for the Washington Bullets. He played two years there and retired, only to do radio broadcasts at his alma mater. Throughout the country Kenny is hailed as a legend and a basketball god.
NOTE - I'm planning an expansion to this portion of the site, possibly with information on Michael Olowokandi and DeSagana Diop.
